Festive Apple Salsa

Ingredients

2 Honeycrisp apples, diced  
½ shallot, finely chopped  
5 sprigs of cilantro, chopped 
1 jalapeno, diced and seeded  
1 green pepper, diced  
1 tbsp of local maple syrup
¼ cup pepitas, roasted  
½ of an orange, squeezed

Directions

Combine all ingredients in large mixing bowl, mix well. Squeeze orange over the ingredients and drizzle with the maple syrup.  

Allow to marinate for an hour and serve with tortilla chips.
