Easy Nachos for Kids!

Equiptment

Microwave safe plate

Microwave

Cheese Grater

Spoon

Hot pads

Ingredients

Tortilla Chips

Monterey Jack or cheddar cheese

Your favorite salsa

Toppings (optional): sliced fresh tomatoes, avocado, sour cream, salsa, cilantro

Directions

1. Place tortilla chips in a single layer on a microwave safe plate.

2. Grate cheese over the top until the chips are lightly covered (you should still be able to see some chips through the cheese).

3. Using a spoon drizzle salsa over the cheese.

4. Microwave on high for 30 seconds or until the cheese bubbles and melts.

5. Remove from the microwave using hot pads and let rest for two to three minutes.

6. Garnish with sliced tomatoes, avocado, sour cream, salsa, and/or cilantro.

7.  Enjoy!
