5 Proteins to Grill
Something about a grill out feels so essentially “summer.” Maybe it’s because we’re cooped up for so long in the winter, that grilling our food outdoors feels really special! 5 Local Favorites in the Refrigerated section
People’s Food Co-op is not just a grocery store; it’s a community grocery store. PFC is community owned—by its owners, your neighbors and friends. Also, when you shop at PFC, you’re supporting Rochester, MN and La Crosse, WI area local farmers, producers, and business owners. Over 20% of our total sales come from local products. At PFC, more of your dollars stay in the area to grow our local economy.
5 Cheeses to Celebrate National Dairy Month
We’re rounding out National Dairy Month and we would be remiss if we didn’t shine the spotlight on cheese. The world has a love affair with cheese and it’s easy to see why. From delicate to robust, crunchy to smooth, cheese enhances almost any meal, can be eaten as a snack or treat, and can also replace most meals, including dessert.

Neng Vue is PFC–Rochester’s ACE Sushi chef. She’s been making sushi for about four years. She picked up her culinary training working for Hennepin Country Hospital as a caterer and a friend introduced her to sushi cooking. She found sushi preparation wasn’t hard to learn with the experience she already had.
