Chocolate Orange Hummus
Ingredients
½ cup maple syrup
¼ cup tahini
1 teaspoon vanilla
¼ cup cocoa powder
Zest and juice of one mandarin orange
¼ teaspoon salt
1 can garbanzo beans, drained and rinsed
1 tablespoon olive oil
Directions
In a food processor mix maple syrup, tahini, vanilla, cocoa powder, salt, orange zest, and orange juice. Add garbanzo beans and pulse several times, then mix on low while adding olive oil in a continuous stream. Continue to process until desired consistency is reached.
Serve as a dip or spread. Great with bread, fruit, and crackers.
