Cornbread
Ingredients
4 tbsp of butter
1 ½ cups of cornmeal
½ cup flour
1 ½ tsp baking powder
1 tsp sea salt
2 tbsp of sugar (or to taste)
2 eggs
1 ¼ cups milk
Directions
Preheat oven to 375. Drop the butter in a cast iron skillet (or baking pan) and place in the pre-heating oven.
Combine dry ingredients in a large bowl. Mix eggs and milk and stir into dry ingredients.
When butter has melted, pour batter into skillet. Bake about 30 minutes. The top will be lightly browned with crisp edges and sides will have pulled away from the pan.
Serve warm with fresh butter and drizzled with honey.
