Double Chocolate & Cherry Brownies
Ingredients
½ cup butter melted
1/3 cup cocoa
1 cup granulated cane sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
½ cup flour
1 teaspoon cinnamon
¼ teaspoon salt
½ cup dark chocolate chips
½ cup dried cherries
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease 8 x 8 pan with butter wrapper.
Directions
Stir cocoa into melted butter until well blended.
Add sugar and mix well.
Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each addition.
Stir in vanilla.
Whisk together flour, salt, and cinnamon. Fold into wet ingredients using a rubber scraper.
Do not over stir.
Fold in chocolate chips and dried cherries.
Pour into 8 x 8 pan and bake at 350 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the middle comes out clean.
