Homemade Chai Tea
Ingredients
2 cups water
2” fresh ginger, peeled, sliced, and crushed
3 cardamom pods, crushed
1 cinnamon stick
1 green tea bag
1 black tea bag
1 cup milk
1 tablespoon honey
Directions
Boil water when it starts to boil add spices and tea bags. Let brew on low heat for 5 minutes.
Add milk and bring to a boil. Brew for 3 minutes after the boil begins, stirring to prevent scalding.
Stir in honey.
Strain into cups and serve hot.
