April 22, 2022 is Earth Day! Here at PFC, taking care of our Earth is an essential part of our ongoing mission to work together to build a sustainable community. To help with that mission, we have 8 easy product swaps to reduce waste.
Klean Kanteen Products
If you’re still using plastic water bottles, now is the time to switch! Kleen Kanteen products, available at PFC, offer reusable, clean food-grade stainless steel products that make them durable and easily washable. The double-walled insulated products keep drinks hot or cold for hours, while not retaining or imparting any tastes from previous drinks. Bamboo Toothbrush
Sourced completely from bamboo, a sustainable and easily biodegradable switch that cleans just as well as a plastic brush. With dentists recommending toothbrushes get replaced every 4 months, changing to bamboo can make a sizable impact in reducing the amount of plastic that ends up in the trash.
Swedish Dishcloths
